Hiking for Homes: a charitable giving opportunity you should consider
I have a friend that is preparing to hike 200 miles to benefit a children and families ministry in Arkansas through adoptions. I am pledging $100 to the hike, and I invite you to do so as well.
Jeremy Woodall is the campus minister at the University of Arkansas at Monticello for Baptist Collegiate Ministry. It’s the same ministry that eons ago I used to lead. It’s incredibly humbling to see him and other former students so actively involved in serving the Lord in ordinary ways.
Jeremy will hike the Ozark Highlands Trail from Lake Fort Smith to the Buffalo National River in Arkansas. It’s a trek of 200 miles. In 2020, he hiked the 223-mile Ouachita National Hiking Trail. I interviewed Jeremy on the Ordinary Celebrity podcast in March 2021.
Jeremy is asking for 200 people to match his 200 miles by giving $100. All proceeds will go directly toward Connected Adoptions, a Division of Arkansas Baptist Children & Family Ministries. You can give here.
If you should divide to give, would you leave a comment here to gently prod and challenge others to do so? Simply say, “I’m in!”
I’m all in, buddy! Thank you for sharing!
