Ordinary Celebrity: Blake Gore

It’s been almost two years since the last episode of Ordinary Celebrity! I’m excited to announce a new episode drop today that features Blake Gore. Not many change career trajectory, especially as the result of a Twitter Challenge, but Blake did. As a miniature artist (or should I say an artist who draws in miniature), Gore has not only found success but a career much different than the his previous higher education roles.

Blake is a graduate of Ole Miss whose educational positions spanned from the University of Mississippi to Vanderbilt University before concluding at Radford University in southwest Virginia. At 37, Gore began drawing and discovered, then nurtured a talent for it.

Now Gore travels the U.S., drawing small and selling his tiny art on a big scale.
