People are so thirsty for good news. One of the travesties of social media is that it decomposed like a rotting piece of meat into unbelievable claims, doubtful prognostications, character assassination, and cat videos. Our culture, led by main stream media, is dining on alarmist, discouraging and divisive news.

And yet, good, great, glorious things are happening all around us all the time.

What matters is what window you look through. Let's say I asked you to look through the window and tell me what you see. One person would describe the budding flowers and neon-green leaves that heavily drape the spring growth. Another person, through the same window, would describe color of the living room furniture, the lamp left on in the corner and the tasteful art above the mantle. Same window. Different views. It matters where you stand when you look.

It’s called perspective. Faith in God is completely indispensable to a clear vision of life. No matter which we gaze through the window, doing so with confidence and trust in God leads to a joy-filled, peaceful life. It doesn't matter what you see. It matters the way you look at life. If you think of a contact lens as a window, it's important to be view life through the appropriate lens in order to experience clarity.

People need to hear your good news! When we are looking at life through the lens of faith, we are able to consider the words of the Psalmist:

“ Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story.” (Psalm 107:2)

Say So

The contemporary Christian music group Point of Grace [check out the podcast I did with the girls] were originally named Say So. That name was taken from this verse. Christians should reverberate with good news. They've been forgiven through faith alone! They should "say so."

In a world where everyone is looking through windows and seeing only doom and gloom, we need to paint a better, more beautiful picture. There's life, hope and help through Jesus! Tell His story and how it has impacted your story.
